Wish I would be there now…but I am busy working … Good rememberings of the last day of our Iceland trip! The Blue Lagoon is a pure relaxing oasis. Great for sore kayaking bodies!
Actually, after being back to Germany I had to jump directly deep into my buisiness again, barely editing some pics from the circumnavigation so far. I will need some more time to publish some more pics…but they will be up one day - sorry ! :-))

Rocket power…
(Btw., that single white "rocket" on the rack - my prototype Rockpool Underground rolling kayak will be black glitter soon…)
Last symposium in Anglesey, my van got a decent upgrade: A nice crown of a sixpack of Kari-Tek cradles on a solid Kari-Tek custom made roof rack base! The second six-pack row in the front will be done soon, as there is still an extension bar missing to load the front row in a matching distance :-)) - but I’ll get it soon!

Back from Iceland, there was a surprise waitig for us:
A short, but thick cardboard tube, filled with two beautiful wooden Greenland Avatak paddles…a laminated two colored wooden one for Greg, and a black one for me, both two pieces for easy travelling and flying…

Thanks to Niko de Florio from Italy for donating us those beauties! He does a great craftsman job on these paddles, please chek out his website!

We are done!
33 days, 25 paddling days, 8 weather days, 1620 km, 65 km average…
Those are the numbers which just don’t say much about the experience and impression we’ve got…but I’ll take my time soon to update the rest of the trip and edit and upload some pictures! A slide show will be ready soon and available to present, too.

Hi, there!
We are weatherbound again… :-((
If someone asks me later what was the hardest part of this trip…for me it were those days off due to stormy weather…I felt like a bondaged racing horse…not that we are not paddling over force 5, but when it comes to 7 or more, better stay dry!
First the statistical update for the last three paddling days:
