Hotel Arte Vida

Tarifa Spain

Surfski Destination Europe

Paddling between two continents “The Straight of Gibraltar” – surfski race on planning! -

Recommended by Oscar Chalupsky

In summer we like to enjoy good food, maybe drink a little more than usual and so, for those who would like to take advantage of the winter to lose a little weight, there is no better place on the Spanish mainland than Tarifa.  While it is best known for windsurfing and kiteboarding, Tarifa also offers a wide range of other sporting activities such as horse riding, mountain biking, SURFSKING, whale or bird watching or you can simply relax and read a good book.

For golfers, Tarifa is situated within easy reach of some of the best golf courses in Europe.  Nearby on the Mediterranean side lie the now world famous course at Valderrama and a real links course at Alcaidesa together with a brand new course designed to challenge the expert golfer; or Almenara with its spectacular holes and, of course, the Royal Sotogrande Golf Course. To the west are Dehesa Montenmedio and Benalup Golf & Country Club or you could catch a boat to Tangier and play a round at the Royal Tangier Golf Club, while non golf-playing partners can enjoy shopping in the Kasbah.

“Arte Vida” is not just an hotel, it is a reflection of a particular lifestyle…….namely, RELAX!  At “Arte Vida” we offer personalized massage together with a menu tailored to each and everyone’s personal needs and taste.

How does a hotel in Spain become a sponsor of my “Race around Australia“?

The owner of the hotel, Laurent Devos, and the manager - Henk Post - are very good friends of Domingo Benitez, the designer of my new trip logo. And we are all part of the “epic family”!

Thanks, Domingo! A great job!

We will make t-shirts as well at some point!
